About Blue Hour

Blue Hour is a live record of what is being made in Lithuanian film: projects moving from development and funding through shooting and post-production to festivals and cinemas, and the people and companies who make them.

Where the data comes from

Funding decisions of the Lithuanian Film Centre (LKC); the Vilnius film office; The Movie Database (TMDB); IMDb's non-commercial datasets; the press; and people in the industry who tell us what is happening. Every date we publish is checked against one of these before it goes on the site.

Dates are shown only as precisely as they are known. A release known to the day reads "30 October"; one known only to the month reads "October 2026"; one known only to the year reads "2027". A funding window reads "expected 2026–27".

Corrections

If something here is wrong or out of date, use Suggest a correction at the end of any film, person or company page, or . Every report is read. Nothing changes on the site until we have checked it against a source.

Privacy

What we store. If you subscribe: your email address and, if you choose to give them, your role, the company you work with and your name. If you share an update or suggest a correction: what you wrote and, if you give it, your email address. We also keep a one-way hash of your network address with each of these, to stop automated abuse; never the address itself.

Why. To send the Friday email, and to know who reads it. To follow up on an update or a correction if you asked us to.

Where. In the EU, on Supabase in Frankfurt. Confirmation emails are sent through Resend.

How to leave. Every email has an unsubscribe link; one click is enough. To have everything about you deleted, write to hello@bluehour.today.
